2009 is being ushered in to the tune of some interesting news stories, observations and predictions, including the end of CDs, the dominance of laptops and a summary of some of the greatest gadgets of 2008.
Fast Company released its Greatest Gadgets of 2008 this week. The list includes some fairly obvious selections, but also a few less-obvious to the casual observer. The list ranges from highly practical The Tom Tom voice-activated GPS system to the sleek and sexy Sony Xel ultra-thin flat panel monitor powered by organic semiconductors.
